A different point of view means a different message
Violence against children is one of the most “silent” abuses that nowadays we hear about.
How many times a child is beaten furiously even by relatives or parents too? And how many times these types of abuses are reported? you can imagine the answer.
In Spain, ANAR figured out how to encourage these children to ask for a help: a child abuse ad that appears differently to kids and adults.
The advertisement has “a lenticular top layer” that exhibits two different images depending on the point of view. When anyone over 1,50m (60 inches), look at the picture, the kid simply appears clear. But for shorter ones (like children), the child’s face is covered with bruises and cuts, showing the writing “if somebody hurts you, phone us and we’ll help you” with ANAR’s phone number.
I believe this particular case teaches us that, sometimes, looking at things from a different point of view, give us the opportunity to understand much more
