In much anticipation of Microsoft’s newest console, all eager gaming fans were treated to  12 minute demonstration of the Xbox One. The video features marketing chief Yusuf Mehdi and Xbox VP Marc Whitten demonstrating the gaming, entertainment, and computing capabilities of the Xbox One.

The unique feature of voice command through the Kinect sensor allows for the fusion of gaming and entertainment, seamlessly allowing users to transition between the many features that the Xbox One has to offer. Notifications are available in realtime when playing games or watching TV, allowing users to pick what is most important.

The integration of Skype is pretty impressive on the Xbox One; it allows users to directly connect through a 1080P camera that moves according to your movements, with assistance of the widescreen Kinect display. The Xbox One also offers a unique “friends area” with a cool activity feed to see what your friends are up to (this includes a “Followers” feature to discover and build online social circles).

Another impressive feature makes it easier to find what to watch on TV. OneGuide allows you to navigate with your voice, and create a favorites channel list that can include app channels.

This video provides a nice glimpse into what the Xbox One has to offer, keeping North American gamers on their toes for the November 22nd release date.
