The iPad Air and iPad Mini are here. The latest of the Apple iPads, these two are so alike that picking one of the two seems like a heck of a challenge. There are subtle differences, though. And that’s what I’m here to show you. Let’s compare the two.

Portability – The Mini Is Just So Easy To Carry Around
Carrying your gadget around with ease is among the most important factors for any gadget-enthusiast. It isn’t okay if you always have to leave your iPad home because it’s too large or bulky to carry around. We have so much to do on the go.
Isn’t that why we buy an iPad in the first place? The Mini can be easily carried around. I can’t say the same for the iPad Air.
Screen Size & Quality – Multimedia On The Air Is A Visual Treat
The 9.7” screen of the Air beats the 7.9” screen of the Mini purely in terms of screen-size. The larger screen especially helps when you’re watching movies and playing games.
If, however, we’re speaking about quality, both iPads have a screen resolution of 2,048 x 1,536. The iPad Mini has a higher pixel density, at 326 pixels per inch, but the range of colors is wider on the iPad Air.

Performance – The Air Just Edges Ahead
The iPad Air and iPad Mini are both powerful, but the Air is slightly ahead. Both iPads feature the A7 processor, but the processor is speedier on the Apple iPad Air.
Additionally, the battery life is equally impressive on both iPads. They both won’t fail you when you’re in need of them on the go.
