Ecooking: Taking The Kitchen To The Next Level

Italian architect Massimo Facchinetti has designed a game-changing kitchen that is definitely paving the way for the new generation of cooking areas in the progressing world. Called the Ecooking Vertical Kitchen, it is not only modular and customizable, but it also saves energy.

How It Works

This concept kitchen is pretty much a solitary tower of delight. It is modern, yet implements an internal retrieval-of-energy system.

The close placing of the integrated appliances and the interchanging of heat and moisture between them helps in the power reservation process.

 

Highlights

The solar panels in the module provide energy to power all the electrical units of the kitchen. A mini vertical wall garden is situated on one side of the block, where you can grow herbs or other aromatic plants for daily use.

Water is recycled immensely in this apparatus. It is filtered from the sink and reclaimed for use in the dishwasher. It is then filtered again and used to water the plants in the mini garden.

The Ecooking kitchen includes a rinsing system consisting of a sink and a dishwasher with convenient capacity. The kitchen sink contains a retractable tap that disappears into it. Also integrated is a large refrigerator, and an integrated cooking system consisting of an induction hob, an oven and a microwave.

 

Special Features

The setup includes a rotating hood that contains a light that follows you while operating around the column. This might be creepy to some, but it is only there to help, and it softens in different shades at lunchtime, and when using the extractable tables.

An air treatment system is located in the hood. It purifies the ambient air based on nanomaterials of titanium dioxide, and is capable of purifying a medium sized room in a few hours.

This stacked kitchenette is also furnished with an expresso machine, so that you can always have the best coffee in the comfort of your home.
