Everything is smarter around us, thermostats too
After working as senior vice president of Apple’s iPod division, Anthony Fadell founded Nest Labs, with the intention to provide self-programming thermostats. The new Nest‘s thermostat philosophy is very interesting.
We know how irritating is to program and schedule a thermostat. So if you don’t do it well or if you don’t wanna waste your time, you’re going to waste energy and, so, your money.
Try to think if you don’t have to do it anymore, because your thermostat is smart and can understand if it is summer, winter, if you’re home or not, and then, it learns about your behavior. And, obviously, you can communicate with it, wherever you are with your smartphone or tablet. Here it is, the Nest thermostat.
Maybe we don’t have robots yet, with the worry to fight against them like Willy Smith did, but in some way we can say to be close.
