Clean Design, Inside Out

The interior space of the Ferrari headquarters in Maranello, Italy reflect the same astoundingly polished design as the luxury cars. You can see simple structuring in clean white and metallic sheen. The signature Ferrari colours of red, yellow and green show up in exactly the same ratio as they do on the logos and the cars themselves – talk about attention to detail!

A Blend Of Technology And Manpower

Most of the workspace has been taken over by modern equipment that does most of the heavy lifting. Still, there is plenty of human skill that goes into crafting these wonders. Engineers crawl into, on top of, under the cars to put their efforts into the production process. Ferrari has stated that the current factory is a work in progress, and they are constantly reworking the layouts and structure to improve the functionality of the various activities carried out, and, most importantly of all, the well-being of the people that do the actual work.

The Future Of Ferrari

Given that they produce only about a fifth of what other luxury companies like Porsche does, these guys seem to have their priorities in order. The Ferrari has always been known for its exclusivity, but in 2013 they made the controversial move of cutting back production by 5%, and it actually yielded them a handsome profit. So this time around, will the Ferrari remain a rare delight, or will you see an increasing sea of red on the roads?
