The mini version of the Samsung Galaxy S5 has long been awaited, with expectations stemming from the Galaxy S3 Mini and Galaxy S4 Mini Smartphones that were released after the flagship phones.

To all those who have been patiently waiting to see the Galaxy S5 Mini, here’s a good news. The handset was spotted on the Finland website of the Korean phone-maker Samsung, with the model number SM-G800F.
The Galaxy S5 Mini
The model spotted on the Samsung site is only assumed to be the Galaxy S5 Mini, there is no confirmation about it from official reports. Another shortcoming of the discovery is that there are no details about the phone on the site, or anywhere else. The model looks like a placeholder of sorts for the rumored S5 Mini, and seems to simply give fans the idea that the real thing is in the works.
Other Rumors
From Samsung-obsessed sites like SamMobile, rumors have risen about what the S5 Mini would look like. The specifications are stated to be a quadcore Snapdragon 400 processor, with 1.5 GB of RAM and 16GB of storage.
Powered by a 2,100 mAh battery, the smartphone is expected to have a 2-megapixel front-facing camera and an 8-megapixel rear camera. The screen of the S5 Mini will measure 4.5-inch and accommodate 720p, and the phone will run on Android 4.4 KitKat.
Special Features
The biggest selling point for the Samsung Galaxy S5 is assumed to be its resistance to water. But, some of the features of the flagship Smartphone Galaxy S5 that will not be included in the Mini version include all the fitness tracking properties. Therefore, you won’t see a heart rate monitor or fingerprint scanner on the S5 Mini.
Pricing And Launch
Because there is no official account of the release date or pricing of the device, it has been widely assumed the Samsung S5 Mini will be launched sometime in June.
