Is Shelfie A Bike Hanger?

Yes it sure is! To be precise, a shelf that serves as a bike hanger. It is designed to hang all types of bikes, in a way that will not scratch the paint off your wall or dirty your floor. So, if you are someone who likes to keep your bike indoors, then the Shelfie is an effective and elegant solution.

Here’s Where The Idea Comes From

German designer Juergen Beneke came across this concept when he was looking for a hook for his bike and couldn’t find one, which led him to created the Shelfie. The Shelfie consists of a cupboard space and a basic hook. The cupboard space can be used to keep bike accessories like bike helmets, or even trophies. The basic hook is where you can rest your bike saddle.

Totally Has Its Advantages!

The biggest plus point is its design – effective and elegant. With ground clearance, you don’t have to worry about making tire marks on your carpet, and you can keep other things below it, if you have to. The cupboard space is useful and adds to the design. Most significantly, the Shelfie takes the bike-parking problem and turns it into an artistic display in your living room.

Should You Pick One Up?

Yes, you should. But mostly if you’re a biker or if you like cool stuff put up at home. If you happen to have an exquisite looking bike, like a vintage Italian race bike, then a Shelfie becomes all that more worth it!
