#Samsung Galaxy Gear Has Shipped 800000 Units In Just 2 Months

Even though the reviews are not favorable, Samsung announced that it had shipped at least 800,000 Galaxy Gears in just two months globally. The company, in a statement to Reuters, said that sales have exceeded even the most optimistic expectations and analyst forecasts, although this figure is probably due to the fact that many retailers offer the SmartWatch alongside a Samsung smartphone or Galaxy Note 3. The news comes a few hours of the official announcement regarding the sales figures of the SmartWatch in Korean territory, which has sold 50,000.
“It’s the most sold wearable watch available in the market place…and we plan to expand its availability by expanding mobile devices that work with the Gear,” says Samsung. According to rumors, Samsung may be ready to launch the second generation of its SmartWatch that could be announced at CES in Las Vegas early next year.
