As the obsession with selfies starts to take over our lives more and more, here is one person who puts it to use in a way that his viewers are completely fascinated. Alex Chacon, a photographer, has been throttling around the world for 600 days, taking selfies everywhere.

Recording his escapade on a 360° rotation using a GoPro camera, Alex has covered 36 countries – a total of 125,946 miles in the process.
YouTube Sensation
Within a week since it was uploaded on YouTube, Alex’s video clip accrued more than 8 million views and 79,000+ likes, becoming a sensation overnight. Travelling from Alaska to Argentina, Alex has driven about 5 motorcycles, specifying in the captions that he was on a Modern Motorcycle Diaries for a charitable expedition.
Borders Crossed
Alex crossed more than 75 borders around the world in his quest to see the most remote and undiscovered places on the planet. He poses in the video everywhere from a beach, jungle and desert to a high altitude location, and even diving under the sea.
Famous Places
Some of the notable selfies include Alex’s photo with the sculpture of Mano de Punta del Este (Hand of Punta del Este), the Coliseum, the Eiffel Tower, Grand Rapids, and the Grand Canyon in the background. Alex also took a selfie with a fully-covered Muslim lady with nothing but her eyes seen, and behind a big group of Muslims too.

Apart from all the famous places and people, Alex has taken selfies with pretty much anyone he comes across in his journey, like a group of friends, a bunch of guys, children and even gasoline men. There is also a lady who has appeared in many of his photos.

Posing for selfies with a lion, and elephant and atop a camel, Alex has been captured riding conventional vehicles as well, like a tricycle, motorcycle, small boat, bus and big boat.
