Italian designer Alessandro Zambelli designed the Woodspot, an iconic table lamp produced by Mantua – based brand Seletti. Zambelli will present his lamp at the next edition of Maison & Objet, scheduled in Paris for 5 to 9 September.
Woodspot rests like a photo frame with a prop behind. It is composed by a hexagonal wooden shade and a base support, both in pine with a natural finish. The shade itself is available in ivory white, pink or pastel green.
Alessandro Zambelli’s Woodspot lamp fascinates because it seems to recall the idea of primitive lanterns. “The emerging beam lightens the solid materiality of the wood and casts a warm and compact pool of light in the surrounding darkness”.
