The most recent app to move to the iOS bandwagon, it’s great for anybody who has Android and iOS devices. It is fully compatible with Chromecast dongles, so movie night can be enjoyed on a large screen. One shortcoming is that you can only make in-app purchases on a PC or Android device.

The app takes you on a journey on its 3D exaggerated virtual Earth. Go wild exploring the Earth’s terrain from its lowest and highest points using the exaggeration option. You can even generate various global warming situations and make high resolution images to share with your friends.

Create and share your own levels or navigate through the 120 levels, three difficulty settings, seven cars and four game modes. It’s the right place to experiment with stunts while driving at unimaginable high speeds using jet physics.

Sherlock: the Network app. Probably not elementary.

Continue the Sherlock craze with Holmes and Watson on their expeditions. The app lets you virtually navigate through London by tube, taxi or foot collecting evidence all along. There are ten cases to solve and each case has a multitude of mini-games too. What’s more, you even get to watch original footage featuring Sherlock, John and Mycroft. An Android version is slated to come out soon.

This is a useful free app that lets you create soft copies of all your documents by converting your device into a scanner. Email, print or upload scans to Google Drive, Dropbox, etc.
