#LG MiniBeam: Watch What A Video Artist Does With This New Projector
LG brings us a new mini LED projector, the PG65U MiniBeam. The appearance is rather peculiar (reminds me of the Super 8 film cameras of the past), with an almost square shape and a very minimal design. The technology uses DLP (Digital Light Processing) and RGB LED, which is capable of ensuring a luminous flux of 500 lumens. The resolution is WXGA (a classic for this type of product) or 1280 x 800 pixels in 16:10 format. The Korean manufacturer claims a contrast ratio (dynamic of course) equal to 100000:1 and an extended life of 30,000 hours. The highest surface on which it is possible to project corresponds to 125”.
The projector has integrated Wi-Fi with support for Miracast and Intel Wi-Di and can mirror files from your computer and portable devices without the use of cables. The present connections include an HDMI input, one VGA, one component, one composite video, and a USB port. The MiniBeam is already available in the U.S. for $699.
