Action Park was first introduced back in 1978, after which it continued to function till 1996, but with bad luck. It is now back though, and for good.

Deaths And Bad Reports

Due to a whole lot of injuries, deaths and bad press reports about the park by visitors and observers alike, the Action Park was closed down in the mid-1990s and sold to a large resort chain. Its new owners named it ‘Mountain Creek’, and made it a boring place of nothingness.

The Action Is Back

Located in Vernon, New Jersey, the water park has now made its comeback, about 20 years after its disappearance. This was possible because of its growing popularity from the rumors coming from those who did experience the madness and absolutely loved it.

Insane Ride Designs

Speaking of insane ride concepts, the park has everything from looping water slides to harness-less pendulums. What makes the amusement park truly perilous is the presence of underage and absent-minded employees, who are probably the reason behind the constant rate of injury that fuels the park’s fame.

What Has Changed Now

Even though the original rides of the Action Park seem to be just like they were all those years ago, the principal difference now is that there are a whole lot of insurance companies, regulators and officials involved in the property to make sure it is safe to some extent.

This time around, visitors can come to Action Park expected just thrills and no unfortunate events, according to what an executive from the park claims. The riders will be made to wear face masks, and the upside-down water slide has been closed to be replaced by the world’s tallest double looping water slide called the Zero G.
