Design And Make
Alen 68 has been designed by Foster + Partners, a well-known design office from the same area. Measuring 68 feet in length, the superyacht has the capacity to hold about 16 passengers outside.
Features And Amenities
For entertainment value, the yacht has a massive space on its body that houses a dining area in the midship, vast sunpads aft as well as a wheelhouse that is sheilded with the help of a curved glass enclosure with a chic retractable bimini top covering a part of the cockpit.
Interiors And Cabins
Alen 68 exhibits a rather simplistic looks in its interiors, with a kitchen, a spacious lounge, two guest cabins and a master cabin. The boat is fully furnished, of course, and has stylish furniture placed in its hull as well as in the cabins. The garage is filled with activity gear like sea bobs, a jet ski, paddleboards, and also a 3.2 m jet tender.
Series And Launch
The Alen 55 series is a new chain by the boatmaker that was unveiled at the Festival de la Plaisance in Cannes this year. Alen 68 is a part of this chain and is expected to be launched by the end of 2014.
Alen 68 is the biggest among its predecessors, and comes in two distinct versions. The standard version does not include the guest cabin, but subsequent versions feature up to three cabins.
Engines And Speed
A set of two 1,550 horsepower MAN engines power the Alen 68, providing it with a cruising speed of about 41 knots and a top speed of 45 knots.
