Citroen brings you one of its coolest family cars – the Citroen C4 Cactus, that comes with a special advantage. It is spacious yet lightweight, large yet space-saving. This vehicle is an engineering marvel.

Cost-Effective And Efficient

The Citroen C4-Cactus is of the same proportions as your everyday car, but weighs  overwhelmingly lesser. To be specific, a thousand pounds lesser. Which would be 2,100 pounds or 965 kilos to be exact. But that’s not all, the Cactus has other talents too. It has dent-resistant doors, and twice the gas mileage.

How Does It Manage To Fit All That In Such A Light Car?

The Cactus is packed with superb features like high-strength steel construction, aluminium body panels and decontenting.  It has leather straps for door handles, pop-out windows, and back seats that don’t split-fold.

What’s more, the Citroen C4-Cactus even has a panoramic sunroof, and this is not just a normal sunroof, it’s a sunroof that is made of an anti-heat material to minimize the requirement for a sun-shade.  Why all these customizations, you ask? To curtail the weight of course.

Also very remarkable is the Cactus’ engine, which is very efficient as it has a capacity of 3.1L/100km, nothing short of impressive.

The Lightest Car Ever!

How light is the Citroen C4-Cactus? Being about 20 inches shorter than a midsized sedan, nearly a foot shorter than a midsized crossover, and eight hundred pounds lighter than a Ford Focus, the Cactus is definitely one of the lightest cars ever – that is also roomy.
