Coldplay – Releasing Their Newest Album “Ghost Stories” on Facebook & Spotify

Last week, precisely after the 86th Academy Awards ended, Coldplay fans were in for a pleasant surprise when the band released their new track titled “Midnight” on YouTube. At the same time, Coldplay’s upcoming album, ‘Ghost Stories’ was made available on iTunes for pre-order.

The first album since 2011’s Mylo Xyloto that received a Grammy, Ghost Stories is anticipated to be nothing short of promising.
Promoting The Album
Coldplay’s Ghost Stories album will feature nine tracks, out of which the single “Magic” will be available for downloading when you pre-order the album. Slowly unveiling one track after another, the British rock band is making good use of social networking sites like Facebook to promote their releases. The released songs are also available on Spotify for listening.
Release Dates
This sixth studio album by Coldplay is all set to be made available to the public on May 19th 2014, but singles will be laterally released in the coming weeks. The “Magic” single was released with a photo showing the lyrics and album track list as written down by the band’s frontman, Chris Martin.
Inspirations And Evolution Of The Band
The two newest songs by Coldplay have gathered an array of opinions from fans about their constant evolution and transformation. Drawing strong inspiration from Bon Iyer and the likes, the songs seem to be paving the way for a whole new structure to the music produced by the band, incorporating slow beats and crooning.
