Of Food And Font
The color palette for this project has been lavished with just as much care and attention as the photography, choice of food and the composition. The subtle mint green backdrop accentuates the vibrant colors of the food itself. White forms the base for the letters themselves, while red and yellow top off and highlight this visual treat.
Symmetry and its breaking play an integral part in forming these letters, serving to round off the already solid base formed by the choice of colors and food. The ‘C’ is another example of composition and symmetry being used effectively.
This ‘A’ in particular stands out because of the strong contrast between the white and the red. The less-than-clinical way the elements are used lends a certain charm to this work and makes it more inviting.
