Some of us grew up watching Anime or reading Manga books, if you did the same, then you know how cool bikes can look in them. The NM4 Vultus looks sleek and ready to dazzle, and I can completely see the Japanese fiction styling of it.

Is It Really Out Of The Box?
Bike designers have always guessed and predicted the taste of the riders, when conceptualizing their next bike’s exterior architecture. The goal is to figure out what people may like, and yeah they do hit gold sometimes. The interesting fact is that Japanese Anime and Manga are also made in a similar fashion. From character appearances to bike designs, are all created with the reader’s taste in mind.
A Fictional Bike
A fictional realm has no limitations when designing bike models, only imagination. Gold was sitting on the pages of Manga books, and it was just a matter of realizing it.
Special Ops Team
Most bike brands develop bikes from their pre-existing designs or that of their competitors. This kind of orthodox team also exists in Honda, but a separate team was formed to take on the mission of materializing a bike from fiction. A team of 20 to 30 year old designers was assembled to research and study bikes in Anime and Manga, to create Honda NM4 Vultus.
The Vibe
Many say that the Honda NM4 Vultus resembles the bike from Akira, what do you think? The project leader says that the real intent “was to make something that makes every moment feel cinematic”.
