LaMetric Customizable Smart Display

First Of Its Kind
LaMetric is one of the first devices of its kind, and other products of this nature are few and far in between. The makers behind the display are UK/Ukraine-based Internet Of Things startup called Smart Atoms.
Kickstarter Campaign
A campaign on Kickstarter for crowd-funding was launched by the developers recently, hoping to attract the attention of the ordinary gadget geeks as well as full-fledged business enterprises. The project whose goal was of $69,000, has already exceeded it with a contribution of $282,012.
What LaMetric Is All About
LaMetric was created with the idea to be able to display everything you can imagine – from notifications and alerts to even social media information. The display is rather sophisticated, and can be set snugly on your desktop or mounted on the wall. In businesses, LaMetric could be used to mass-display all kinds of business-related information with the employees or public as an audience.
What’s Inside The LaMetric
Equipped with an LED light-powered display, the LaMetric is made up of a main board which has a full-sized LED screen attached to it, as well as a touch button sensor board and a speaker. The device is Wi-Fi enabled and also works with Ethernet. The display can be scrolled through and outputs seven numbers with one icon.
Battery And Programming
To charge, you simply have to plug in the LaMetric with the mini-USB power adapter that comes with it. Alternatively, you can also choose a LaMetric that comes with a built-in battery. The LaMetric can be easily programmed using the app which accompanies it, and can also be customized with RSS and IFTT widgets.
