The remake of the original Godzilla movie is on its way to hit theatres in May 2014, and the trailers of the film are all over the Internet. A full 3-minute trailer was released 25th February, showing some horrifying glimpses of the magnificent monster.

Armless Statue Of Liberty

Capturing the absolute wreckage the kaiju causes in New York City, the trailer features some incredible clips of the path of destruction of the creature. You can see a badly lacerated Statue Of Liberty with the arm holding the torch chopped off, as well as many other dismantled skyscrapers.

Making Them Believe

Joe Brody, a scientist at Cranston, seems visibly frustrated as his peers firmly hold the belief that the devastation is because of a natural calamity. Also seen in snippets of the trailer are Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Juliette Binoche, Elizabeth Olsen, Ken Watanabe and Sally Hawkins, who are all part of the cast.

The New Godzilla Is Colossal

In this new full official trailer, you can more or less judge the tremendousness of the beast, and it is rather appalling. Its face, visible for only a few seconds in the very end of the trailer, is enough to send chills down your spine.

The Godzilla’s gigantic body is seen in many parts of the trailer, and it pretty much seems endless. The monster is seen to move across continents, from San Francisco to Asia to Las Vegas.

References To The Original Godzilla

With references to the ‘awakening’ of something back in 1954, the movie seems to have strong roots linked with the original, and might as well be a sequel to it based in modern times.

The movie looks nothing short of deadly though, and is hard to tell whether there will be some fun scenes included as well.
