The New Scrambler Ducati
For those who do not know, the model, Scrambler Ducati was an icon of happiness and free spirit during the ’60s-’70s.
Produced from 1962 to 1974, this model was a real symbol for thrill seekers looking to make endless memories with others, and at the same time help bring out people’s individuality.
This year Ducati decided to re-introduce an updated model of the Scrambler. This model will be presented to the public next October and intoduced to the market at the beginning of 2015. Rumors have been spreading these past months, but no one has had the opportunity to see pictures or videos of this new extravagant model.
As of Monday, June 9th, Ducati decided to air a viral video and website highlighting the newest features and an inside look to special events promoting the Scrambler. Let’s discover the newest member of the Ducati family.
A Symbolic Presentation
Ducati decided to present the new Scrambler by recalling the past. Just as in 1962, when they put their test pilots in their campaigns, ducati decided this year to install a special container to display the new model. They picked a beautiful location in the headquarters of Bologna, surrounded by Palm trees, the ocean, and a laid back atmosphere. Employees can enjoy the scenery while drinking by the bar and after discover the New Scrambler in an amazing presentation.
Groups of 8 employees are allowed to go inside the container and discover the New Scrambler, with a real presentation as they would be real journalists and clients.
The “Free-Spirit” Mood
The campaign was anything but ordinary and strongly represented the values of the brand. Scrambler by Ducati Aims to set a positive and optimistic mood.
For this reason the bike display is surrounded by simple and nonconformist objects in contrast with classic Ducati symbols such as surfboards, skateboards and a bar on the beach.
There was also a music band playing a blues concert with an electric double bass only for the employees. That’s awesome! Isn’t?!
