Nike Football Launch – England Kit
Commissioned by Nike to a renowned design company, the task of creating a crest for the England Three Lions required the inclusion of a ‘Risk Everything‘ filter in the imagery.

As a preparation for the FIFA 2014 World Cup, the 3D crest was used as a backdrop during the launch of the new England kit this summer.
The New Kit
The new home shirt for England is rendered in pure white and has a pinstripe that has been engineered right into the fabric, with a satin tape in white placed on the shoulders such that the jersey has a distinctive shine. Additionally, a metallic weave was incorporated into the Lions Crest, giving the crest a shimmering appeal when it shines in the light.
The Jerseys
The back of the jersey’s necks are sewn in with a Pennant tab that has a graphic of silver pinstripes, together creating the St. George’s cross. The collar sported by the jerseys is V neck, perfectly styled for the sport. The away socks are red, and the shorts made of white fabric flaunting a red tape on either side.
Showcasing Elegance
Celebrating the history and accolades of the well-regarded team, the classic home and away jerseys for the England kit showcase reminiscent national symbols in a truly unique presentation of styling.
More than just an illustration of the revered English saint, the St. George’s cross has been created to function as an optical illusion, too. You will only be able to see it from a distance, not up close.
The England Crest
The England crest features a base weaved of satin, and has embroidered lions on it to exhibit a rather radiant effect. Made of a bright shade of white, the base enhances the ensemble with an optical brightener to reveal ultimate brightness, letting the lions come alive when you view them under ultraviolet light.
