OON: a new creative power strip from LA
Talking about sockets or plastic power strips may sound like the last thing you want to do. Sockets are white, boring and they are on everyone’s floors. However, it shouldn’t be that way!

In the hands of designers they can become really cool home accessories. Los Angeles- based OKUM headed by David Okum, designed Oon, a new type of creative power strip combining logical function and smart design.
Three electrical sockets are fitted within wooden blocks that are strung on a cloth cord and separated by wooden balls. The multi-outlet Oon is designed to flex around different situations, like furniture, it can be rotated allowing for all connections to be utilized and organized. Crafted in Los Angeles, the sockets are enclosed in hard maple, metal and plastic details.
