Arctic Bear Productions
Narrating a visual story of sorts about the wildlife in the north pole, Arctic Bear Productions’ filmmaker Adam Ravetch created this very exceptional video. What is truly remarkable is how he strapped one of his GoPro cameras onto a polar bear from a group of four, and captured their journey from a refreshing new perspective.
Jaw Droppingly Captivating
Looking at life in the Arctic through this amazing angle, the footage is nothing short of inspiring. As the family goes around in search of sea ice, you can’t help but feel gooosebumps on your hands watching this scintillating adventure. The visuals are truly exraordinary thanks to the GoPro HD Hero3+ camera combined with new lens that was used for the entire shot.
Collaborations And Support
The making of this film had many supporters behind it, like the Arctic Bear Productions and Arctic Exploration Fund to name a few. Additionally, the World Wildlife Fund and the US Geological Survey in partnership with Rolex watches have also been credited for the clip.
Captured By The Wild
The idea behind the fund is apparently to equip animals of the wild with these exceptional cameras to capture events in their own lives so that an archive can be formed consisting entirely of movies made by themselves.
The Journey
From swimming underwater to watching the sun on the horizon, the footage seems to capture the very essence of the journey that these polar bears undertake. The summers are longer than ever before and almost completely devoid of ice, posing a huge challenge to these animals as they have no access to seals that come with the ice.
