You walk by this girl, and she is carrying a handbag out of a cartoon. You stop and pause, and wonder, 2D or not 2D? Is that real? Well check these bags out, it’s completely bonkers!

Don’t believe your eyes quite yet? This is exactly what the designers of JumpFromPaper handbags intended to do, and to give you the opportunity to have your own 2D bag as well.

Who Drew This?

Whose brainchild looks like a cartoon? Maybe many brainchildren out there turn out to be cartoons, unintentionally though. But JumpFromPaper bags have passed some solid milestones in becoming cartoon bags. The drawers behind these bags are Taipei-based design duo, Chay Su and Rika Lin.

Every Cartoon Has A Story Behind It

The story behind it all starts way back, to one cozy afternoon, when these two designer girls were chatting and stretching out their dream bags just for laughs. Rika Lin and Chay Su were drawing out their dream designer bags, and I’m not sure whether their drawings weren’t shaded properly or what, but the idea of making cartoon-like 2D bags popped into their minds.

Cartoon Inspired Fashion

The Cinemas are going 3D, then why should bags go 2D? Well, it’s not about 2D or 3D. With the current generation being so submerged in Apps games and Facebook games, they must have had the yearning to eat that 2D cupcake or wear that 2D bag.

The Look

Very fashionable in a modern kind of way, it’s like retro contrast schemes, but not with colors, with dimensions.
