From Foursquare and SocialRadar to Find My Friends, there is always something lacking in there that you really wish was integrated. Taking over the grey area of giving you ubiquitous updates along with lots of other functions, here is Tag for iOS.
Tag For iPhone
Letting you actively share your location information with your friends, this incredible app provides you with some privacy too, by not being too invasive. Currently only available for iOS, Tag is expected to be released in an Android version shortly as well.
How To Navigate
All you need to do is login with your Facebook ID, tag your friends using tools like locations, photos, text and even video. A great way to invite some friends over to where you are, Tag lets you send messages to pre-made lists as well as individual friends.
Simple And Minimalist
The home screen of the Tag app is extremely minimalist, with just two options – share a location and a photo. It will then use your location data and send it across the interface to create an update.
Expected Additions
Tag’s next update is expected to bring with it some additions that are apparently required, like an intro video, pop-up tips, and Facebook invites.
The Aim Of The App
Aimed at getting rid of the need to send out ‘Where are you’ and ‘What are you doing’ messages, the Tag app is hoped to provide a convenient alternative. Previously called Marco Polo , Tag was developed by and his team, and is simply directed at helping friends meet up easily.
