The selfie craze is fast taking over every aspect of our lives, and countless gadgets and apps have come to being to make the task of selfie-taking easier. The GoCam app is one such mobile app that is aimed at letting you take a picture of yourself without touching any part of your screen or clicking any buttons.

Touchless Technology
was designed by Crunchfish, a tech startup from the southern city of Malmo in Sweden, making use of ‘touchless technology’ as they like to call it. Compatible with iOS devices by Apple, the app provides an ideal solution for clicking selfies as well as groupies.
Using Hand Gestures
So all you have to do to click a selfie with GoCam is stand at a distance and use hand gestures to signal the app to take your photo. The motion sensor software works for a distance of about 3 meters, and is the first of its kind in iOS.

The idea behind the app as you may have already gathered, is to trigger photos as well as videos no matter how far you are from your smartphone camera. Additionally, you can also add an artistic touch to your pictures by editing them with sophisticated tools and high quality filters provided with the app.
Availability And Sale
GoCam is free for download on iOS devices, and is currently going to be available in Australia and Sweden only. There are, of course, plans to spread it to other parts of the world in the near future.
