Apart from being a remarkably intelligent individual who spoke roughly eight different languages, Nikola Tesla is also the man who invented light. When he built an energy tower called Wardenclyffe Tower in NYC, it was opposed by Governing powers of many countries. The tower was said to be able to emit wireless electrical energy throughout the world providing free use.

Apart from being the SI unit of magnetic flux density, Tesla is also the name of many products today, including the world renowned Tesla Motors, all in the honor of Nikola Tesla. During his lifetime, over 700 patents were issued to Tesla from around the world, all the way up to the year 1943.

In the footsteps of the blockbuster ‘The Prestige’, this project on Kickstarter aims to make a new movie entirely dedicated to Tesla, recording all the historical facts and events revolving around him.

With several leading distribution partners ready to release a film of this nature all over the world, the group is looking at create a medium-budget movie that will give off the impression of a high budget production. By signing big stars willing to do a movie like this for less simply in honor of Nikola Tesla, the movie could well be a huge favorite after it hits theatres.
