The first transformers movie came out in 2007, and was a pretty big hit among action movie fanatics. With a slow decline in reception of the next two installments that followed, Michael seems to have revamped the whole setting for this fourth part.
Still A Sequel
While most fans were expecting to see a reboot of the Transformers series this year, Transformers: Age Of Extinction is still a sequel and will continue the plot from the third part had left off. Picking up after the events of the former films, this installment will show what happens after Cade Yaeger is pulled into a global conflict. The war will ensue when he stumbles on a heap of junk that subsequently transforms into the Optimus Prime.
Lots Of Wars
Don’t want to spoil the movie for you, but one thing you should probably know is that the movie is full of wars. The alien robots are clearly not very happy with the Earthlings, and that’s the impression you’ll get in the entire first half.
Change Of Course
The plot takes a different course altogether, when the Decepticon forces make their advent into Earth in an orbit. This is all that can be inferred from the new trailer at least.
The New Trailer
Giving you some crazy tidbits of the movie for your viewing satisfaction, the new trailer of the movie also provides some breathtaking close-ups. Seen in the clip are some Dinobots, as well as a zoomed-in image of Megatron just as he transforms into a gun.
Release Date
With Mark Wahlberg in the lead role, Transformers: Age Of Extinction will premiere in theatres worldwide on the 27th of June, 2014.
