The marketing bandwagon of the World Cup has some of the greatest brands in the world jumping on, all induced with the FIFA fever. Here are two such very emotional commercials to be aired on TV that are sure to give you some great inspiration for campaigning.

1. Commercial Mineros – Support Team Road to World Cup 2014

Centered on the theme ‘Nada es imposible‘, which is Spanish for ‘Nothing is impossible‘, this ad has a strong undertone to it. Shown in the clip are mine workers who endured 33 straight days in mines in Chile about 3 years ago. They make a powerful statement to the soccer team of their country saying that they may be facing death in the form of Spain and Netherlands currently, but will come out of it victorious like they did from the coal mines. Created by the Bank of Chile, this commercial is all about instilling the sense of believing in the impossible.

2. Spot Movistar

While most people would love to think that the ex-world champions are now laid back, Spain claims that they are making an effort with this ad. Created by Movistar, this commercial has the most famous Spanish players going out into the real world as regular people. With ordinary jobs, the players try their best to make a difference with everything they do.
