Discreet Packaging
Character designed these identities for Wally, trying to stay as close to the quality of Wally as possible. This is because it is aimed at giving off the impression of a discrete system that senses alterations in humidity and temperature and alerts you on your mobile device.
A Unique Identity
Since Wally offer unique features, it was only fair that its packaging is unique, too. Character’s job was just that, and they seem to have excelled at it. The redesigned mobile app, website, retail packaging and fixtures for events are expected to help extend all consumer touch points.
What It Looks Like
Made to look like a custom logotype, the identity selected for the Wally product has a delicate yet humorous illustration of everything that sensors do – which includes the use of copper wiring to communicate with the Sensor Hub.
All About Wally
Wally is created by SNUPI Technologies, a startup based in Seattle. It has many impressive features ranging from a battery life of 10 years to use of the wires in the walls of your home as an antenna instead of a Wi-Fi or Bluetooth connection. This was made possible by implementing the newest developments in low-energy as well as sensor technology, so that people can now monitor their homes more efficiently.
