Inside A Sex Doll Workshop In California
Sex Dolls are essentially lifeless sexual partners used by lonely males for masturbation. These dolls made their advent into the world in the seventeenth century, when they were used by French and Spanish sailors on long journeys.

Serving as a little more than a sex toy, and a little less than a real companion, sex dolls sometimes take the place of women in some people’s lives. Here’s an insight into how they are made at this (creepy) factory in Califonia.
The Factory
Located in San Marcos in Califronia, United States, this workshop is called Abyss Creations, and is headed by Matt McMullen. Matt is the sculptor–in–charge of this company that sells realistic female mannequins worldwide, each costing around $7000.
The Photographer
Zackary Canepari is an American photographer, and works independently on documentaries and editorial projects. These photos were clicked by him for his project, titled Love Machines, with fellow filmmaker Drea Cooper.
Sights And Figures
This series of photos show some slightly disturbing images of the sex dolls in various stages of production. You can see disembodied heads with attractive smiling faces, naked female bodies dangling from a rack, and several rows of perfect teeth. There is an array of many bodies placed next to each other, displaying different breast sizes, body shapes, and skin colors.
The Customers
What kind of people go for these products? To be honest, it could range from anyone to everyone. But if you want stereotypes, it’s the lonely, the old, or the less skilled in bed that go for sex dolls. The dolls are even customized for satisfying specific fantasies of customers.
60-year old Bob Givens probably defeats that stereotype since he’s married. But he has the largest collection of dolls in the world.
