#Know Roaming Will Save Your Credits When You’re Roaming

You cannot use your smartphone in other countries and expect to pay the same rates that you pay back at home, but there are several options that make it more convenient to go online internationally. One of our favourites is in the process.

Everything is up and running, including servers, carrier contracts and a call center to provide support. However KnowRoaming need to raise funds to bring its adhesive technology to fruition. There are agreements in place with various carriers around the world, which in turn give users access to networks in 220 countries with floating interest rates.

Expect to pay less than 30 cents/MB in Europe or 10 cents/MB in the U.S. (if you reside abroad). Keep in mind the rates in other countries may be a little bit more (between 70 and 95 per cent of what your home carrier would pay for roaming, according to company representatives).

Rates are constantly changing, often for the better, and provisioning can be pushed over the air to allow lower fees as soon as they are available. You can send/receive texts and phone calls at a United States and United Kingdom number. Additionally  you can add other numbers for a monthly fee.

You can pre-order the sticker (and applicator) for $35, excluding the credit. It is set to ship in February, but the first 500 customers can expect delivery in December.
