The #Qylatron Revolutionizes The Security Check

While security checks are absolutely necessary for many events, it is definitely not a fun experience. Sometimes waiting in line for a security guard to check your bags takes a long time, and might cause you to miss the beginning of that sports match or concert.

A company called Qylur has created an automatic security checkpoint, known as the Qylatron. The Qylatron works by having patrons place bags and other personal items in a compartment. Once patrons pass through the metal detector, their belongings can be accessed on the other side if they are cleared (using the event ticket). If the belongings are questionable, only a security guard monitoring the machine can access it.

We’re hoping that more venues and airports adopt this system. It will not only increase the efficiency of security checkpoints, but also require less security officers to be present to physically check patrons and their belongings.
