Who Is Dan Cretu?
Simply an artist and photographer hailing from Romania, , spends the larger part of his time transforming food into all kinds of different things. The pictures of his creations are taken fresh – within four hours of putting all the parts together – because the raw materials he uses are not exactly durable.

Making use of organic foodstuff ranging from fruits and vegetables to seeds too, Dan configures them into the required shapes and sizes by cutting and dicing them. The end result bears an uncanny resemblance to the object it is supposed to look like, but with a delicious twist of course. His work is completely original and does not bear any alterations by digital tools.
